Thrive Family Therapy is Hiring for an Associate Therapist
Part Time Associate Therapist (internship). 15 weekly hour commitment requirement. This position is required to have at least 10 weekly clinical hours available to clients, and up to 5 weekly admin/networking hours. Associate will be participating in building a caseload, therefore hours will start out small and build based on clinical services provided per week. This position provides in-person and virtual therapy services to an array of clientele including individual children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. The position is based on a private practice model, which provides the flexibility to work individually, while having the support of the team. Applicant will have the opportunity to be part of TFT’s professional team while building and maintaining an individual caseload. Supervision is provided. Associate Therapist will also be provided the opportunity to learn private practice business skills. Minimum Qualifications:
Registered AMFT, ASW, APPC in good standing with BBS with a minimum of 1000 hours completed towards licensure
Experience working with diverse populations and variety of treatment modalities
Motivated, hard-working, enthusiastic professional with the ability to work individually and as part of a team
Availability to see clients in person and virtually during day and evening times on a combination of at least 2 days a week. Weekend availability is a plus
Must be able to commit to a weekly availability of at least 10 clinical hours and 5 admin/networking hours (more can be available)
Must be able to work virtually in a confidential space and be comfortable using electronic devices to perform job duties.
Ability to market/network to assist in building caseload and promoting business
Must be available for Supervision on Tuesdays, time to be determined by Supervisor and Associate
Duties and Responsibilities: (not limited to)
Provide non-judgmental, genuine, insightful therapy to children, teens, adults, individuals, couples, families and groups.
Responsible for assessment, treatment planning, and termination processes with clients
Maintain paperwork appropriately and in a timely manner using online EHR system
Opportunity to engage clients for initial intake, fee negotiation, and scheduling first sessions
Engage in collateral communication when appropriate for coordination of care for clients.
Maintain own schedule for client services
Participate in marketing/networking opportunities to promote Thrive business and self
Maintain all legal and ethical requirements of the profession
Ability to be flexible to change with an expanding and growing business
Ability to expand into starting and running groups
Other duties as determined necessary
